Ultimate DAnce Pros Convention/competition

5 of our dancers from BEDP attended a dance convention/competition in King, NC.
Jazz class for age 12 and under with Monika Priddy. Jessica is third row in lavendar leo and black pants, Lexi is second row in pink tee and black pants, and Marissa is first row in light pink leo and black pants.
Lyrical for ages 13 and older taught by our very own Ben Henley. Lindsey
is front row in burgundy leo and black shorts. Shana is MIA (just kidding,
she was in advanced clogging during this class).
Senior Modern instructed by Will Shover.
Jr. Acro class with Worth Shover et. al. Marissa works on her back handspring, while Jessica mugs for the camera!
Sr. jazz with Monika. Of course that is Lindsey and Shana in the front!
Mr. Ben gets really brave taking on the Jr. ballet class right after lunch, but
keeps them all amused with a funny song about a dictionary and something about
reading it on the toilet?!?!?! Too funny and the kids loved it!!
Ben leads again in what many said was the best class of the day - Sr.
Contemporary
Mr. Will with the Jrs. as they attack modern with selections from "The Lion
King"
A full day of dance and now we all stay to watch Shana compete her solo in the competition afterwards.
Shana not only receives the highest rating given for her solo, but also
qualifies for the National titles competition for 2009! A promising start
to our 2008-2009 competitive season!
